Course Overview
Skin rejuvenation and dermal filling using the body’s own natural filler called Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). By using your own ‘autologous’ platelet-rich plasma as part of a comprehensive facial rejuvenation treatment.
Using your body’s own growth factors in order for the skin to repair and rejuvenate; also called PRP or the Vampire facial. This treatment can be used either as a stand-alone treatment for your clients or the plasma can be injected into the face and neck area when the student is competent in injection techniques or mesotherapy.
Once plasma is injected into the skin, a large amount of growth factors are released to stimulate the soft tissue regeneration, therefore PRP can be used in place of dermal fillers or alongside them for the best results.
You will have already competed the phlebotomy course prior to this training course. This 1 day course will add to the phlebotomy training showing you how to centrafuge and inject plasma.
Please note that you will need to purchase a centrifuge prior to offering the treatments to your clients. The cost of the centrafuge is approx £55/£65.
Committed to Delivering Outstanding Training Courses
Our training courses are held in our ISO certificated premises to enable us to train you in the best possible clinical environment. We are situated within our renovated and beautiful self contained building, which was actually a Gin distillery built back in the 1700's. Here we will teach you the essential aspects of aesthetic procedures and where we will enable delegates to develop a more advanced practical and theoretical knowledge of these complex and artistic treatments.
If you are completing your Injectables training with the CTIA, it is mandatory that you become part of the Cosmetic Treatments & Injectables Association, where the elements of safety are provided to our learners as part of the Associations package and benefits, which also includes Injectables Insurance to members from £560 +IPT (subject to acceptance), First aid, Hyaluronidase and discounts with suppliers.
It is essential that the CTIA and our tutors dedicate our teaching methods and concentrate on the safety aspect of any treatment that we offer training in. We are totally dedicated to promoting safety within the aesthetic sector and only offer high quality training courses, and courses which we deem to be safe rather than the latest injection technique fad or craze. We may not be the cheapest, and it most certianly wont be easy, but we offer the most, and 14 years of injectables training under our belt, we are unlike another training establishment within our sector... the CTIA created the Aesthetic Therapist.
It's very wise to remember that at the end of that needle is a client, and we believe that the client should always come first for safety and best practice rather than profit.

Join the 'Cosmetic Treatments and Injectables Association'
Not just an Association, but a network of like minded professionals, who work with each other to help build up our sector. As a CTIA Member you will have completed all or some of your training with us. We offer regulation to our members and give your clients peace of mind that you have had the best training and are equipped and trained in case of an emergency.
The CTIA will have checked that you are fully insured, that you have extensive experience and hold industry qualifications to enable you to offer the most comprehensive and innovative treatments within the aesthetic sector.
Membership package (for £295 per year), provides you with yearly First aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis management and Hyaluronidase training. We give you clinical oversight for prescribing and assistance with one of our CTIA 48 prescribers, plus we are always to hand when you need us.
We work alongside 4 UK pharmacies where you can order your products and consumables for your treatments. You are able to apply for insurance with our UK insurance intermediaries where you can get insurance cover from only £560 +IPT for injectables (botox and fillers) depending upon insurance acceptance. We also provide a Prescribing Partner for those who have trained at our Academy; who all work together to bring regulation into the CTIA.
